Our Mission
South Florida OMS and those of us at the centers for dental implant surgery, and corrective jaw surgery are dedicated to the highest quality of care in the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 1985. We take pride in providing contemporary clinical care in a full scope of the specialty as well as serving in a leadership capacity for the future of our specialty on both a local and national level.
South Florida OMS can truly be described as a unique group of service-oriented professionals whose aim is to provide the highest level of patient care in combination with a maximum of comfort, sensitivity and compassion for each and every individual.
This website was constructed with the goal of further closing the information gap between us and our patients. This is especially crucial for those many patients who travel from abroad to visit us. They can obtain important information about the specialty and are able to register online to streamline their care. Having such an important presence on the internet also allows us to provide a service to our many referring professionals. They are able to contact us easily at all times, refer their patients using online forms as well as transmit radiographs electronically.
All the doctors at South Florida OMS have completed accredited OMFS residencies and are certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). While all of our doctors enjoy the practice of general oral and maxillofacial surgery, their particular interests and advanced training and experience enabled the formation of our "Centers of Excellence" in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice.
Surgical Staff
The surgical staff at South Florida OMS includes experienced and certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of anesthesia and surgery. All of our staff are CPR trained and undergo advanced training in cardiac life support, under the guidelines of AAOMS (The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery).
Administrative Staff
The administrative staff at South Florida OMS includes front desk personnel who facilitate scheduling, patient care coordinators who are very knowledgeable and allow the smooth management of different patient needs. There is also a financial department where the intricacies of both medical and dental insurance plans are well understood.
Auxiliary Staff
The auxiliary staff at South Florida OMS includes personnel dedicated to the strictest methods of disinfection and sterilization, laboratory technicians to allow the timely completion of complicated treatments and audiovisual support for photographs and radiographs
